Jason Derulo forced to cancel his tour after fracturing his neck! (PHOTO)

Jason Derulo rocking it out on stage at ‘NYE in NYC’ seemed like the perfect way to kick off the New Year, but now he’s singing a different tune after fracturing his neck. Jason fractured his vertebrae while rehearsing a dance move for his upcoming European tour. He posted of a pic on his facebook page of him in the hospital wearing a neckbrace with the caption, “I fractured my neck doing tumbling and acrobatics for my tour! Always trying to push boundaries for YOU! Like my new chain?” He’s got a good sense of humor about it, but doctors say he could’ve been paralyzed if the injury was any more severe.

Jason has been released from the hospital but he will be in a neck brace for the next several months and had to cancel his European tour, which was suppose to kick off next month. He released a statement last night saying, “The pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I’ve sustained. My fans mean everything to me, so I’m praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future.”
