L.A. Reid signed a deal to return to X-Factor

L.A. Reid is safe!

He reportedly has signed a deal to return to X-Factor next season. They are still trying to fill the two empty judge’s spots and the hosting position, but no one has jumped at an offer just yet.

They were hoping to snag Madonna but she politely turned down the offer. She said during an interview, “I think I have enough jobs, but thank you for thinking about me Simon.”

Simon Cowell has had high hopes of getting Mariah Carey ever since last season, but that’s probably not going to happen either. Mariah hasn’t shot down the possibility just yet, but her hubby Nick Cannon pretty much did. He said that the X-Factor would be a step down for her.

Simon’s still hoping to persuade Beyonce with a $100 million offer. He thinks that having Beyonce on board would help him finally beat American Idol.
