Halle Berry is begging the court to allow her to move with Nahla to France

Halle Berry wants to take off to France with her 3-year old daughter Nahla and fiancé Olivier Martinez, despite this on-going custody battle with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry. Of course it sounds like Halle is just trying to do whatever she can to have Gabriel out of their child’s life, but there is more to the story than just that.

Halle told the police that this mental patient that escaped from the institution last week, Robert Hoskins, is threatening her life.

Robert’s been in trouble before for making threats. Back in ’95, his target was Madonna. He was arrested and shot after trespassing on her property. He had been threatening to slit her throat, and now he’s making the same threat to Halle.

She’s also using her recent engagement to try to persuade the judge to allow this move. According to TMZ, she didn’t get engaged back in December like everyone thought, but Olivier did pop the question after the first of the year. She is asking the judge to allow Nahla to move out of the country with her mom and future step-dad for their safety.
