Russell Brand blames his fit of phone rage on Steve Jobs

Russell Brand is making light of his New Orleans drama, when he snatched a pap’s iPhone in a fit of rage and threw it through the window of a nearby building. Chris Brown much? But guess who he is blaming for his hissy fit… Steve Jobs.

Russell immediately offered to pay for the broken window while the pap called the cops on Russell for destruction of property. Russell later explained his behavior on his Twitter page and blamed it on iPhone rage. He tweeted, “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently.  What I did was a tribute to his memory.”

Well it may all be fun and games to Mr. Brand, but the New Orleans police department is taking it a little more seriously. They have issued a warrant for his arrest, and it probably won’t be hard to find him since he’s staying in New Orleans while filming a movie.

UPDATE- Russell Brand has been arrested! He turned himself into the New Orleans police and is currently in custody.
