Ethan Hawke starts out, oh, so hopeful in his new film — scoring a heck of a deal on his new pad — but, as with most horror flicks, it’s too good to be true.
Ethan finds a box filled with incriminating serial killer evidence just chilling in the attic. (Didn’t anyone see that during the home inspection?) Ethan’s character, Ellison, really starts to freak when he discovers the meaning of a symbol that links all the murders together is ‘pagan deity who consumes the souls of human children.’ Ellison has two kids…
