Katie Holmes calls the shots in the divorce settlement

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise decided to not drag out this divorce for the sake of their 6-year old daughter. Last week, Suri was getting used as a weapon in this divorce until their lawyers warned them of all the damage that could cause her. They quickly agreed to settle their divorce and make a custody agreement. Wait, are they being mature?

Suri will live with Katie full time in New York while Tom gets generous visitation rights with a few stipulations… The new bodyguard and nanny that Katie hired must be with Suri at all times while she’s in Tom’s care. No Scientology séances Tom! That brings us to the special ‘religion clause,’ which says that they are limited on what religion they can expose Suri too—cough, Scientology—but those restrictions will ease up as she gets older.

And there’s another kid that’s a victim in this divorce… Katie’s step-daughter Isabella Cruise. Bella called Katie ‘Mom’ and they had a very close relationship. But a few months ago, Katie suddenly fired Bella from her clothing company. Bella didn’t understand until Katie filed for divorce, then she realized that it was an ambush all along.
