Idol changes- Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson out as judges and J.Lo just doesn’t know! (VIDEO)

We told you yesterday that Steven Tyler is out at American Idol. He said that he had to dump his psycho mistress (Idol) before she boils his bunny and he’s gonna return to his true love (music). But it might not have been his choice to leave. Sources are saying that Idol didn’t want him back.

So what’s up with the rest of the crew? Jennifer Lopez is still hemming and hawing over whether or not she plans to return. She talked to the Today show yesterday about her questionable Idol future, saying that she can’t give a definite answer yet.. Yeah, she’s holding out for more money or a better offer just like she did last season.

And then there’s big dawg Randy Jackson. He’s been the permanent staple at Idol but there’s a good chance that he’s gonna be out as a judge too. Don’t worry, he’ll still be there but just as a mentor. Rumor is Mariah Carey is close to signing on as a judge and Randy, who is her manager, would switch over to a mentor.

Man that would be a major slap in the face to Simon Cowell. He couldn’t get Mariah on X-Factor so he had to settle for Demi Lovato. Great choice but she’s not a musical legend like Mariah Carey.
