Usher is ready to settle in light of the family tragedy

Usher has been involved in this epic child support and custody battle with his ex- Tameka Raymond but he’s ready to put all that drama aside now because of their recent family tragedy. Usher’s 11-year old stepson Kyle Glover was in a serious accident out on the lake over the weekend.  He was getting pulled around in an inner tube when a family friend ran into him with a jet ski. Kyle has been declared brain dead at the hospital.

Both Tameka and Usher have been at the hospital and he told her that they needed to reach an agreement. He offered to split custody 50/50 and a slight increase in child support but Tameka turned him down.

Usher met with his lawyers later in the week and drew up a new settlement, giving Tameka majority custody and significantly raised the child support. He has not presented the new offer to her yet but she said that she is open to a ‘reasonable settlement’.
