SPICE GIRLS reunite for Olympics—is this the best Britain’s got??

We mean no disrespect U.K!
It’s just… America is kinda BURSTING at the seams here with talented people. We’ve got more UNBELIEVABLE vocalists than we know what to do with! Would you consider taking the finalists from the last season of Idol off our hands? Or how ’bout a few contestants from X Factor? The Voice? Or—at least—Chris Brown?

It was announced that both the ‘Spice Girls‘ and ‘Blur’ will reunite to perform at The Closing Ceremonies of the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Apparently this reunion is something Britain has wanted for some time (although we’re not sure why). The group was rumored to be in the cards for 2010′s FIFA World Cup, but it didn’t happen. A regular hold up has been a Spice by the name of Posh. It’s said that the reason she agreed to it this time was because hubby, David Beckham, played a big part in getting the Olympics to London. Also, now that he won’t be playing in them, she will have free time to rehearse (she’s usually too busy cutting orange slices).

Now that we sent an SOS to our friends from across the pond re: the overcrowding situation in the U.S. talent pool—let’s take a moment to admire how nicely these girls women have turned out! They clean-up so well! It’s amazing how lovely they look without those horrendous costumes.
