Taylor Swift has more heartbreak to write about — her folks’ divorce

In a world where marriages tend to last a little longer than 72 days or EVEN 14 months—Country Music La La Land—reports that Taylor Swift’s parents have split after 25 years is devastating news.

“They haven’t filed for divorce because they don’t want it to damage Taylor’s career,” said a source for Radar Online. But, maybe the real reason they wanted to keep it on the D.L. was so that Taylor didn’t write a song about it!

Taylor has described the lyrics of her next album as “sad, if I’m being honest.” And she already wrote her ‘Dear John’ letter song to John Mayer, so what else could she be referring too?

“She’s been going through a lot,” a source tells Radar. “The new album will showcase the pain of her parents’ separation.”  We‘ll have to wait until then to see who cheated on who.

According to the source, Taylor’s parents, Andrea and Scott, have not been wearing their wedding rings and may have split as long as two years ago. Mom Andrea has been on tour full-time with Taylor as her Momager, while Dad Scott only sees her on select tour dates.
