“It’s the last time I’m going to listen to my wife when she says, ‘why don’t you go out and see a movie.’” Fred Willard tells Jimmy Fallon.

Teasing, Jimmy asked if the movie was “Anaconda?” Not missing a beat, Fred replied, no it was “Get Shorty.”

All joking aside, Fred confessed that being busted at the adult theater in Hollywood last week is, “Very embarrassing. It’s as embarrassing as hell. But let me say this: Nothing happened. I did nothing wrong. Everything is being sorted out as we speak.”

We’re not sure if he was referring to the job he was fired from—host of PBS’s Market Warriors—or the legal issues… The L.A. City Attorney’s Office said that Fred can avoid charges if he completes a diversion program for merely $380. In this case, it looks like the cost to his reputation had the bigger price tag.

That said, Fred’s hilarious handling of a VERY awkward position (no pun intended) proves he’s ready to be cast in his next great comedic role — Best in Show: Two???

TH5′s favorite part is when Fred says that he was, “drawn in by the theater’s Polynesian-themed exterior,” and to sum up his whole experience, “It’s an interesting theater, a boring movie and a great place to take a nap.”
