BREAKING NEWS: Oprah is letting her naturally curly locks loose for the first time EVER!

Oprah has had COUNTLESS “a ha” moments—from her rare prime-time interview with Michael Jackson… to being named “the world’s most powerful woman” by CNN and “one of the 100 people who most influenced the 20th Century” by TIME. But, THIS breaking news trumps all of THAT…

In September’s edition of O Magazine, Oprah goes au natural! (Or at least her hair does anyway.) Yes, as you see in the magazine’s cover photo, she will be wearing her hair in its “natural state.” Of course, after the photo was taken, it was air-brushed-the-heck-out-of… but still… it’s natural.

In the issue, Winfrey opens up about her follicles … and says she almost chopped them all off! Oddly, Bill Cosby convinced her otherwise. “Don’t do it,” he said. “You’ve got the wrong head shape and you’ll disappoint yourself.”  ”I took his advice,” Oprah said.

In actuality, Oprah has tried MANY ballsy new hairdos! She commented about it on her web site, “I’m a firm believer that changing your hairstyle can change what we see and feel is possible. I even notice a change in my dogs when they get their summer cuts: they’re friskier and livelier, feeling more themselves once the weight of the hair is released.”
