Hoda Kotb sent to save the Today Show’s Olympic coverage.. Savannah Guthrie already on the outs?

The execs at NBC thought that firing Ann Curry was the solution to the Today Show’s rating prob. They brought Savannah Guthrie on board but she’s not delivering either.
The Today Show has lost in the ratings to their arch enemy ABC’s Good Morning America for the last 4 weeks in a row. NBC knew that they had to do something dramatic to save the Olympic coverage, so they called Hoda Kotb off of vacation and sent her to contribute alongside Savannah, Matt Lauer, his rumored baby mama Natalie Morales and Al Roker. Hoda did her first show in London yesterday.
If Savannah doesn’t up her performance, she’s gonna be out. Maybe that was the plan all along, to bring in Savannah knowing that she would suck so they could finally stick Natalie in that place. And Matt’s wife, who had threatened a divorce if he allowed his lover to take the co-host spot, would have to suck it up knowing that he won’t have a job if they can’t bring his mistress on board to save this show!

Weren’t they advertising that Hoda would be in London helping with coverage prior to the Olympics even starting (during the 4th hour, at least)?
