Why was the SWAT team out at Miley Cyrus’ home yesterday?

The cops received a 911 call about a home invasion and gun fight at Miley Cyrus’ LA home.

Someone called and said there was a break in and they heard shots fired. The LAPD responded immediately with their guns drawn.. but no one was there and their was no sign of a crime.

Miley is actually in Philadelphia right now with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth, driving him nutty on the set of his new movie ‘Paranoia’ and no one else was at the house.

Cops determined that this was a false alarm and they just fell for a 911 prank called ‘Swatting’, where a caller tries to trick the dispatchers into sending the cops out to a home for a fake serious crime.
