Nick Jonas confirms IDOL rumors: Yes, I REALLY want to be a sell out judge!

Nick Jonas tweeted, “The rumors are true. I am being considered to be a judge on ‘American Idol,’ and it would be a dream come true if it happens. #NickOnIdol.”

Hmm? Is Nick asking us to cast our votes for him? Has Idol put him up to this? In addition to all of us—American TV viewers—doing FOX’s job for them by picking our favorite contestants week-in-and-week-out; are we now ALSO expected to determine who the judges are? What exactly does the staff at Idol DO? (Besides count all of our votes.)
