Brad Pitt buys Angelina a simple wedding gift watch… it only cost $300K+

Brad Pitt splurges and buys one of the world’s most expensive watches to give as a wedding present for his fiancé Angelina Jolie. (It feels strange to use the word ‘fiancé’ when they already have a busload of kids together.)

Brad forked over £250,000 for the luxurious Patek Philippe Minute Repeater, which equals $308.6K (as of today’s exchange rate, anyway).

There’s normally a two-year wait list for this watch! But, somehow the two-time winner of the prestigious Sexiest Man Alive award, managed to bypass this line; like he probably also gets to do at Disneyland and The Cheesecake Factory. No fair!

Although the $300K+ watch looks pretty boring, it apparently ‘chimes sounds based on Big Ben and is constructed by hand. It’s gold with a mother of pearl dial and takes two months to make.’

Brad (48) and Angelina (37) got engaged in April and are expected to be married in a ceremony at their French chateau. The couple is currently living in Surrey with their six children. (Surrey is a county in the South East of England…thanks Wikipedia.)
