In Rob Pattinson’s first post-cheating interview, Jon Stewart tells him: “Kick her to the curb!” (VIDEO)

Jon Stewart opened with, “Soooo, what have you been up to?”

After an awkward moment of nervous laughter by R-Patz, Jon produced two tubs of ice cream and told him: “We’re just a couple of gals talking. Tell me everything.”

Rob said he wished he had a publicist to navigate this awkward situation, but he confessed that he’s just too cheap to hire one!

After Jon had trouble eating his soupy Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, he started slurping and then said that the problem with The Daily Show is that it doesn’t have a “f***ing freezer.” Rob didn’t actually eat his ice cream, just played with it saying, “I’m going to split my spanx. I’m double spanxed.”

Jon stirred the conversation back to the break up, saying: “Boy, you are better off without her. Kick her to the curb.” (Rob giggled at this.) Jon added, “When you are young and you break-up, it feels like the world is ending but this is the first time I have actually seen the world react that way. It’s insanity. So here is my wish for you, that you get to handle your business in your personal life and I wish you all the best.”

Maybe Jon Stewart should be Rob’s publicist — a gal pal chat over Ben & Jerry’s was a killer way to handle the situation, plus he got to enjoy some soupy Cherry Garcia® with “K-Stew!” BUT, an even better revenge/PR move that Rob made was looking Mad Men-dapper in a blue-grey suit (above photo) at the NY premiere for his new film, Cosmopolis, which was the reason he agreed to the “K-Stew” interview in the first place.
