Somber Sly Stallone gets supports from his ladies as he opens up for the first time about his son’s death (VIDEO)

Two things are clear from this photo taken at The Expendables 2 premiere in London and from Sly’s first interview about his son’s shocking death, on Good Morning America.

Number one—Sylvester Stallone’s family is filled with fighters, who show up and support their dad and one another during a very difficult time.

Number two—Sly’s family is filled with hot chicks! Sly and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, have some seriously good genes. Their three daughters: Scarlet Rose (10), Sistine Rose (14) Sophia Rose (15) are gorgeous! Roses, yes in deed — English Roses, here.

Sly also brought some major backup muscle — including Arnold Schwarzenegger and “Muscles From Brussels” aka Jean-Claude Van Damme (who insists on calling his peers—”Mr. Stallone” and “Mr. Schwarzenegger;” out of respect…not just to make them feel old).

Here is what Sly had to say in his first interview about his son Sage’s passing on GMA:

“It’s tough. It’s very tough … it’s a horrible situation. But, if you have good friends and family support, time, hopefully, will heal, and you try to get through it, but it’s just something. It’s a reality of life,” he said. “I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral.

The Expendables 2 comes to theaters this Friday, August 17.

As for the future of The Expendables franchise…casting plans for the third installment were revealed! Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood could be joining the legendary line-up. Producer Avi Lerner said they’re also interested in Wesley Snipes (once he gets out of prison, of course) and he wants to bring back Mickey Rourke, if he doesn’t act “too crazy.”
