One Direction cover Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ — wonderful or pitiful?

One Direction sort of set themselves up for the ONSLAUGHT of negative feedback their new video received:

A boy band sitting at the beach around an acoustic guitar, while wearing khakis and attempting to cover  Oasis’ classic ‘Wonderwall.’ 

The comments section of their You Tube video has magically become ‘disabled.’ Although the video currently has 1,516 likes and only 488 dislikes…the negative comments were pretty…mmm, NEGATIVE.

“Can’t believe I’ve just watched One Direction cover Wonderwall and NOT bled to death from the ears.”

“One Direction’s cover of Wonderwall has just given me morning sickness. Awful guitar playing. Stick to your pop s***.”

“Sounds like a group of schoolgirls.”
