Poor, mixed up Rihanna Tells Oprah that post-abuse she was “More Concerned” about Chris Brown (VIDEO)

Oprah looks like she’s thinking: Ohhhh child…I have SO much to teach you.

Rihanna opens up to Oprah about her scandalous beating back in 2009, by her then boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna says she “felt protective” of Brown because of all the media coverage, she suggests that he (her assailant) might have been the real victim, and that she was “more concerned” about HIM than anything else (like herself…her face…her insanity).

“It became a circus and I felt protective. I felt the only person they hate right now is him,” RiRi told Winfrey with teary in her eyes. “I just felt that he made that mistake because he needed help, and who’s going to help him?”

That’s sweet of her to worry about Breezy, but… Let’s hope that later in the interview Rihanna has her ‘ah ha’ moment and realizes SHE too was SICK…

Oprah seems to be doing all she can, to not wrap her arms around RiRi and SHAKE some sense into her: Sweet child, have you not heard a word I’ve said for the past 20 million years? I’ve been teaching women about the insanity of domestic violence, like feeling sorry for your attacker, since the ’80s! That’s like ‘Abuse 101!’

Rihanna will be Oprah’s guest this Sunday night at 9pm on OWN.
