Joe Jonas insists Taylor Swift‘s latest TMI break up song isn’t about him. Joe’s first clue? She already wrote an embarrassing song about him.

In a radio interview, Joe Jonas throws his two cents in about Taylor Swift’s new song. He tries being complimentary of his ex, but his long pauses and uncomfortable laughter told another story!

Here’s how it went down:

Radio Host: “Song is called ‘We’re never ever getting back together.”

Joe Jonas: “Yeah, I’ve heard it, it’s great!” … “She’s great at writing song about break ups. Stick to what you’re good at.” (awkward laughter) “It’s freedom of speech.” … “It IS a bummer if you hear your name in a song, but that hasn’t happened yet.”

2nd Host: “Do you guys text…Do you guys keep in contact?”

JJ: “I can’t say we’re best friends, but I’ve been able to go to her show… And I’m happy for her success.”

Host: “What’s up with her not being able to have a relationship stick around for a while?”
2nd Host: “Is she secretly crazy?”

JJ: “Uhhhh… I have no idea. I can’t answer that for her.”

Host: “Would you date her again if that came about?”

JJ: “Ahh, umm, I think I’m good as a friend.”

Interview ends … Joe Jonas hangs up.

Host: “She’s secretely nuts, I’m telling you. He just doesn’t want to say.”
