Beyonce’s demands 1 billion good deeds be done…like…yesterday (VIDEO)
Written by Russ Francis+
Who better to honor humanitarians than an honorable human like Beyonce?
Beyonce drops a new music video, but it’s not some shake your booty kinda thang. ‘I Was Here’ has a very important message. The video was filmed at the United Nations in support of World Humanitarian Day and was presented by Anderson Cooper presented. The goal of this bad-a$$ ballad is to send 1 billion messages of hope across the globe; asking listeners to participate in awesome acts—like volunteering for a charity organization, making sandwiches for the homeless, or letting in that idiot driver.
Beyonce has asked for little help from her friends — Michelle Obama, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Shakira, Gwyneth Paltrow + her hubby, Chris Martin, and Queen B’s own hubby, Jay-Z — are all participating in the effort.
Although World Humanitarian Day was yesterday and the 1 billion goal was met —HOORAY—it’s still possible to get brownie points for your own good deeds! Click for more info.
