Quickest Hollywood divorce ever- Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are officially divorced!

Katie Holmes blindsided Tom Cruise with divorce papers back in June and in the quickest divorce turn around ever- they are already officially divorced. It became finalized on Monday but of course, no details have been released. They made the divorce quick and painless, just for the sake of keeping those Scientology secrets under wraps.

Friends are concerned about how Tom is dealing with this divorce. He’s thrown himself into work to keep his mind occupied and is down 14 pounds since Katie left. His friends are telling him that he needs to slow it waaaay down.

Tom and Katie’s divorce took a record amount of time to be finalized and actually beat out several other celebrity divorces, like Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher… All of those divorces are still pending court approval.

TomKat’s divorce did coincide with another one that’s been dragging out in the courts for awhile. Last year, Michaele Salahi took off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon while her confused husband Tareq called the cops and said she was kidnapped! She stayed on with Journey to be their groupie and her and Tareq publicly fought it out for awhile but now their divorce is final… and Michaele has been upgraded from Neal’s mistress to his girlfriend.
