Taylor Swift crashes a Kennedy wedding & mother of the bride is NOT amused! (VIDEO)

Just because you’re Taylor Swift doesn’t mean you can forgo sending back that little wedding invitation response card. It’s really not that tough…they couldn’t make it any easier…the envelope is already stamped…so all you have to do is chose—Chicken, fish or vegetarian?

But, the reason Taylor didn’t send in her entrée selection is because SHE WASN’T INVITED. A bigger wedding etiquette faux pas than forgetting to RSVP by the indicated deadline…is to ‘text message the mother of the bride an hour before the wedding.’ This is exactly what wedding guest, Kathie Lee Gifford, confirmed happened. Kathie Lee is the stepmother to Victoria Gifford Kennedy—the IRATE mother of the bride.

Victoria told the Boston Herald that her cousin Conor Kennedy (Taylor’s beau of 1+ month) texted her to ask if they could attend. Although she said no—not just because it wasn’t proper etiquette (especially for a Kennedy), but because she wanted to keep the focus on the bride. “This is my daughter’s day and I would appreciate it if you would not come.” But, the wedding crashers “came anyway.”

When the mother of the bride confronted Taylor and asked her to leave, she said, “It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”

Kathie Lee said, “The truth is, because I was there, Vicki’s account is accurate.” Taylor and Conor were asked to leave “twice.” Kathie Lee then joked, “Why can’t I stay out of trouble? I was just a guest at that wedding. The bride is actually my granddaughter by marriage.”

Taylor’s reps tried to spin it though by telling Us Weekly: “Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there.”
