Between Two Queens—Madonna strikes back at Elton—who will win the war?

Madonna’s comeback to Elton John calling her the C-WORD comes in the form of a compliment from the stage of her concert in France...a backhanded one.

Now, the Queen of Pop better watch her back, because Elton’s likely to track down her yacht in the French Riviera (as he’s done to many other celebs) and show Madge his English Full Moon—in all its glory!

Here’s what happened:

Y’all know how we say, “Bless your heart”…but what we really mean is,”You’re a moron?” Or worse… Well, that’s basically what happened when Madonna dedicated a song to her longtime rival saying: “I know he’s a big fan of it (the song). And I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere.”

It seems sweet — like she’s attempting to bury to hatchet and be the bigger person — but instead, she proves to be the bigger Queen. Madonna reveals that the song she’s dedicating is ‘Masterpiece’ … the song that beat out Elton’s ‘Hello Hello’ for a Golden Globe back in January. If you’ll recall, Elton decided not to go the traditional route: “it’s an honor just to be nominated.” Not a chance and neither did his husband. In fact, David Furnish called Madonna “desperate” and said her acceptance speech was “embarrassing in its narcissism.”

Between the Golden Globes thing and the C-WORD thing…Elton kinda had this coming.
