LeAnn Rimes enters “emotional rehab” for anxiety (with a side of anorexia?)

It’s about time LeAnn Rimes admits that she’s nuts! Girl went off the deep end way back when she stole that husband of her’s. But when is she going to admit to that eating disorder?

LeAnn’s rep released this statement: “LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress.” LeAnn, who turned 30 two days ago said: “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.”

Really? Is 30 days all it takes to reverse 30 years of crazy? One day at a time for each of the 30 cray cray years? Sounds like LeAnn is in for a rude awakening at this ‘emotional rehab.’ If her issues weren’t that serious, she’d just be seeing a shrink—like the rest of us. If she’s got anorexia, it isn’t like having the flu…Chicken Noodle Soup ain’t gonna cut it.

However, some are suggesting that LeAnn may have been pushed into rehab as a “publicity stunt”— after her emotional issues spilled over into Twittersphere. (You know things aren’t going well when emotional rehab is your only hope for an image overhaul.)

LeAnn went ‘Beverly Hills Housewife’ on one of her many ‘home wrecker haters’ (after the woman criticized her for breaking up Eddie Cibrian’s marriage). LeAnn tweeted: ”Remember you can’t break what’s already broken”…”I’m not anything like what you read about. It’s all lies and anything you’ve read about no matter who or where it comes from….well, let’s just say its a game for so many to hurt others. Time to move on, everyone else has.”

LeAnn then took it a step further and somehow got this woman’s phone number and in an attempt to smooth things over, made herself not only look like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction, but ALSO set herself up to be taped by this hater…who then turned around and posted it online. LeAnn’s lawyer is now leading a “Twitter Investigation” deeming the act as “treachery” (it’s illegal to tape a conversation without the other person’s consent).

Either way, LeAnn comes out looking nuts, so maybe emotional rehab is EXACTLY where this little lady needs to be. For most people undergoing treatment at a rehab—AA—means something different, but for LeAnn could it mean “Anxiety and Anorexia?” If she’s not 100% recovered in 30 days — does she get her money back?
