S.O.S. Sailor Simon Cowell Saves Nine Lives!

Simon Cowell helped rescue nine passengers on a sinking ship off the south coast of France. His ex-girlfriend (and X-Factor mentor) Sinitta tweeted: “OMG!! Just had a May Day message…35ft boat sinking…SC has sent us to help and rescue 9 people on board!” An hour later Sinitta concluded the saga, “Everyone ok, noone hurt.captain (aka Simon) won’t let boat sink, petrol in sea etc would cause major problems and fines. No tide, so hole plugged”

Twitter translation: ‘everything is okay.’

Reports are saying that Simon even helped pump water out of the sinking ship. Simon seemed really eager to lend a hand AKA try to reverse his negative karma. Regardles, we’re proud of Simon!  That must have been a wild experience, especially since Simon’s usually in the other boat—sinking people’s hopes and dreams.

As we know, Simon SC and his “ex” have a very cozy relationship…but is there more to it, besides maturity! They seemed a little too comfortable handling chaos at sea…do they have side business together — pirating? Simon could easily scare the bejesus out of Captain Jack Sparrow or Geoffrey Rush.

But back to yesterday’s S.O.S. story, a friend of Simon’s confirms: “A boat nearby to where Simon was in the Mediterranean put out a mayday call late yesterday afternoon, so Simon and the other boats in the area sent their tenders over to help them.”

Tender what?? Not sure, but sounds sweet…oh…apparently ‘tenders’ is the technical term for those little boats off the back of your yacht…oh yeah..we knew that…we set sail often.
