Honey Boo Boo Child for President! America’s sweetheart beats RNC ratings…

Looks like America cares more about a proud redneck beauty pageant toddler and her (former) pet pig than, hearing Romney and crew talk about the future of America… TLC’s spinoff starring Toddlers and Tiaras‘ Alana Thompson and her family, hit a series-high yet again with almost 3 million viewers; second place was Fox News’ coverage of the Republican National Convention with 1.2 million eyeballs (less than HALF of Boo Boo Child’s audience).

What has our country come to? Are we in a state of emergency?
Nah, this show just ROCKS!!

However… things may be EVEN bleaker for our upcoming Presidents election… Honey Boo Boo scored more viewers in the key 18-49 demo than the RNC coverage on any ONE of the individual broadcast networks. The combined coverage of the RNC across networks did, of course, top “Honey Boo Boo’s” numbers. THANK GOD.

To be fair to Romney—how on God’s green earth—could a goody two shoes Mormon EVER compete with a self-proclaimed “redneck” 6 year old with her catch phrases such as ”A dollar make me wanna holler” and her inability to control herself after drinking her “go-go juice” (a mixture of Red Bull and Mountain Dew)?
