What do Honey Boo Boo, Bill Clinton and The Kardashians have in common?

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo tied the ratings for CNN’s coverage of Bill Clinton’s speech at the Democratic National Convention, among 18-49s. It appears that Honey Boo Boo Child and America’s original Boo Boo—Bill Clinton—have IDENTICAL appeal! That warm Southern charm wins us over every time…

As you’ll probably recall, last week Honey Boo Boo BEAT the RNC’s ratings in the same key 18-49 demo. Honey Boo Boo is—undeniably—a force to be reckoned with; although, predicting a winner for this year’s Presidential election based on how each party’s National Conference performed versus a reality show starring a 6-year-old redneck/Red Bull chugging beauty queen…would be a bit of a long shot.

Besides the Presidential hopefuls, there is someone else who seems envious of Honey Boo Boo’s wild popularity….Kris Jenner!

Radar Online reports, “To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement. She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can’t understand why America is so fascinated by them. Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for ‘exploiting’ Alana in that way.”

Interesting timing for ‘the pot to be calling the kettle black’ since just last night, Kim Kardashian’s celebrity appearance at a North Carolina night club drew less than 50 people…
