Rumors have been circulating for months that Macaulay Culkin is deep into drugs. It turns out to be worse than we thought; he’s actually deep into experimental art…

Mac and his two artsy buddies have been holed-up in his NYC apartment for months. They were believed to be hitting the hard stuff, but apparently they’ve just been tapping into their inner Jackson Pollock.

They’ve joined forces in a collaborative art project where one friend finishes another friend’s artistic thought or expression…

Mac’s recent dramatic weight lose was thought to be the result of a heroin addiction (or that he was hooked on the Master Cleanse), but now it looks as though Mac has just been getting into character for his new role as a ‘starving artist.’

But, who’s to say he can’t have both—an art career and a drug problem? It has happened once or twice before. No doubt there is at least some truth to the drug thing. In the promo video, Mac seems to have a bit of trouble keeping his eyelids upward and some of the group art is pretty out there… Could their drug of choice be paint fumes?
