Eric Stonestreet’s ex-girlfriend of one day is already engaged?

It’s been a bad week for Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet. He was booted out of the Dodgers/ Cardinal game over the weekend for getting rowdy with some heckler that called him fat.

Then it was announced just two days that Eric split from his girlfriend of three years, Broadway star Katherine Tokarz. The very next day, she announced that she was engaged to writer-producer Bret Calvert.

It didn’t literally happen that quickly. They actually broke up 9 months ago but never made the announcement. When she told Eric about her whirlwind engagement, they decided to make a formal announcement about their split but she didn’t hold off on sharing about her engagement either.
