LMFAO is breaking up!

LMFAO made the announcement that they are going on an indefinite hiatus.

Redfoo and SkyBlue (the uncle and nephew duo) are venturing off to go work on their own projects. There’s no word on when they might regroup but they say the split isn’t permanent.

Redfoo said, “I feel like we’ve been doing this for so long, five or six years. And we’re kind of like saying, well, let’s just do what’s natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time.” Redfoo plans to create a line of tennis clothes and continue with his solo music.

SkyBlue says he plans to continue cranking out the party hits.

Maybe it is a good time for LMFAO to retire. Their ‘Party Rock Anthem’ video just got defeated by Psy’s ‘Gangham Style’ for the most ‘liked’ video on Youtube.

I guess it’s better to go out while you’re still on top. If you can’t compete with Psy, time to retire.
