Sean Lowe named the new Bachelor!

Sean Lowe has officially been named the new Bachelor. He’s the blonde guy that came in third place on Emily Maynard’s season. You may remember him from running the streets of Prague while shouting Emily’s name.

And they might not have a brother doing the choosing just yet (Lamar Hurd has been vying to be the first black bachelor), but they did throw in a variety of contestants this season. ABC has a few pics of the new contestants and there are 4 black girls, an Asian girl and several white girls. And some girl named Sarah who doesn’t have a fully developed left-arm, whatever that means. Nub?

Sean started shooting for the new season Monday night. The 17^th season of ‘The Bachelor’ will premiere in January.
