Honey Boo Boo gets holiday specials and a second season!

‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Child’ just wrapped up their first season but they’re not staying off TV for long. (“Duh”, says TLC. “They were averaging 2.3mil viewers. Cha-ching!)

So TLC plans to ride out this family’s popularity with some cheerful holiday specials. They have ordered three Honey Boo Boo specials, to be aired around Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas… So instead of watching ‘A Christmas Story’ for the holidays, you can watch everyone’s fav redneck family!

Then after a brief hiatus, the show will return for a 2^nd season.

TLC better be careful! Once these reality shows get popular and rich, they drop a ton of weight and get plastic surgery. (“Not us!”, said the entire cast of Jersey Shore while lying through their teeth.)

Before we know it, the Honey Boo Boo family will be pretty, sophisticated and living in Kardashian mansions. Will a skinny, rich, highfalutin version of the Boo Boo’s still be funny?
