Anne Hathaway’s rustic wedding (PICS)

Anne Hathaway got married this weekend! She and jewelry designer Adam Shulman have been engaged for a year but no one thought the wedding was going to happen any time soon.

Anne said that the wedding was on hold since she chopped her hair off and dropped a ton of weight for her role in Les Miserables. But she got hitched this weekend in a private ceremony… Private being no celebrities were there, which is unheard of in Hollywood weddings. (“Everyone doesn’t do it big and televised?” – Kim Kardashian).

They got married on a private estate in Big Sur, Cali, in front of nearly 200 guests. It was a sunset ceremony that took place on a cliff under a tent, surrounded by tall pine trees next to a bar. They had a nature, rustic theme going on (they even incorporated branches in the ceremony) with pink and white flowers.

She was wearing an off-the-shoulder Valentino gown with layers of semi sheer silk chiffon with polka dots and a veil with a vintage headband.

Her dress is beautiful but what’s up with that headband? It looks like she’s wearing a do-rag made of chiffon. Guess it makes her feel better about her chop job haircut? (“Great idea!” – Miley Cyrus).

And another celebrity took the plunge this weekend. Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill tied the knot with model Martha Patterson in a ‘country wedding’. Jared and his bride both wore Lucchese cowboy boots during the ceremony.
