After several complications delayed production on The Lone Ranger, including budget issues and the traumatic death of a crew member (Mike Bridger reportedly had a heart attack while prepping a tank for an underwater shooting scene), the official movie trailer is finally here.

The film stars Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger and (brace yourself, ladies) Johnny Depp as Tonto. It’s directed by Gore Verbinski (Rango/Pirates of the Caribbean) and produced by Jerry ‘big cheese’ Bruckheimer. The famed masked hero is brought back to life through new eyes.
