Nelly is the latest celeb to get BUSTED!

The police hit the jackpot on the crackpot when they searched Nelly’s tour bus. It was filled with drugs and guns—literally—10 pounds of marijuana, 36 bags of heroin (2/3 ounce) and a loaded 0.45 pistol.

But, Nelly is blaming it ALL on one guy. Someone by the name of Brian Keith Jones took the fall, so Nelly and the rest of his entourage, who were detained by police, were later released. That’s a lot of drugs for one dude.

The bust took place at—you guessed it—the infamous US Border Patrol checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas.

When will celebs learn??

2010 — Willie Nelson (marijuana)
2011 — Actor Armie Hammer, The Social Network (marijuana in the cookie/brownie form)
2012, January — Snoop Dogg (weed…what else?)
2012, September — Fiona Apple (Mary Jane)
2012, October — Nelly Some dude on Nelly’s tour bus (marijuana, heroin and a loaded gun)

It looks like Nelly’s raid may be the checkpoint’s big celebrity bust of the year, unless Dina Lohan rolls through Texas…

This is the statement Nelly released about the incident:
“It’s my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus. Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board.”
