Dane Cook’s new show canceled before it even aired

For some reason, Dane Cook scored a new show on NBC, I guess because there’s not enough crappy shows on television.

The show is called ‘Next Caller’ and Dane played a radio DJ that was ‘disheveled, unshaven, hung-over’ and he hated his female co-host. They filmed four episodes and it was supposed to premiere this winter… but NBC canceled the show before an episode even aired.

I guess they wanted something original, which really isn’t Dane’s style.

Dane joked about his suckage on Twitter, saying, “Loved my cast and crew (not sure of their names, didn’t have time to learn them) but will never forget my 37 hours working on Next Brawler.”
