Drake graduates High School! Better late than never!

25-year-old singer, actor and high school dropout—Drake—just earned his diploma. Although he won’t get the chance to walk across a make-shift stage or wear a goofy cap and gown, Drake is still a very happy man today.

He Tweeted, “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school.”

Ironically, Drake’s big break was playing a high school student in Degrassi: The Next Generation. He was a student at Toronto’s Forest Hill Collegiate Institute when he left to play a pretend student.

Drake was just 15 years old when he played paralyzed basketball player James “Jimmy” Brooks for seven seasons, appearing in 138 episodes through 2009, when Jimmy graduated from high school. Three years later, Drake receives his REAL diploma.
