Is Ashton Kutcher following in Charlie Sheen’s footsteps?

Written by +

It looks like Ashton Kutcher may have drank the Two & a Half Men Kool Aide… Reports are coming out that easy-going Ashton has become a real pain in the butt. Apparently the crew are calling him CHARLIE SHEEN JUNIOR behind his back.

BTW, that’s really messed up—not talking behind someone’s back, that’s just Hollywood, but going so far as to call him Charlie Sheen Jr—LOW BLOW!

Ashton was originally said to be “a breath of fresh air” after replacing Charlie last season, but now, things have changed. A so-called “insider” says, “It’s pretty clear Ashton is not as enthused about [the show] as he was last season. Ashton is complaining about everything from the scripts to the makeup and even costume choices. He feels he’s being undervalued. At this point, I think it’s doubtful that he’ll return next season.”

Is there some sort of correlation between being the highest paid actor on TV and turning into a raving egomaniac? It was just announced that Ashton Kutcher tops the list of highest paid actors on TV with a whopping $24 million paycheck, although that’s only about half as much as 2010′s top actor…Charlie Sheen…he made $40 mill! (Maybe that’s why he feels ‘undervalued’?)

TV’s highest paid actors of 2011/12 (from Forbes):

1. Ashton Kutcher, $24M
2. Hugh Laurie, $18M
2. Ray Romano, $18M
4. Alec Baldwin, $15M
4. Mark Harmon, $15M
6. Tim Allen, $14M
7. Jon Cryer, $13M
8. Patrick Dempsey, $12M
9. Jason Segel, $8M
9. Jim Parsons, $8M
9. Johnny Galecki, $8M
