Taylor dedicates “Never Ever Getting Back Together” to Jake Gyllenhaal

The jury is still out on whether John Mayer is “presumptuous” for assuming Taylor Swift‘s “Dear John” was about him, but it looks like Jake Gyllenhaal would NOT be ‘presumptuous’ to think “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is about him.

Although Taylor continues to claim she never ‘talks’ (about which ex her songs are about) she seems to have given away that “W.A.N.E.G.B.T.” is dedicated to Mr. Too Kool for Skool—Jake Gyllenhaal.

The worst part is, her intention behind creating the song seems to be PURE evil… Taylor said, “He made me feel like I wasn’t as good or as relevant as these hipster bands he listened to. So I made a song that I knew would absolutely drive him crazy when he heard it on the radio. Not only would it hopefully be played a lot, so that he’d have to hear it, but it’s the opposite of the kind of music that he was trying to make me feel inferior to.”

And when USA Today asked her ‘why’ she would want to torment someone, she said, “Because that’s fun.”

TRUE DAT.

However, don’t you think Taylor’s plan probably backfired? It’s highly unlikely Jake would be caught dead in any establishment that plays that country-pop crud…
