Over before it began…Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez are saying goodbye…

…shortly after saying hello. They were seen together over the summer and then just last month, Eva confirmed to Extra that the two were dating and Mark confirmed to GQ that he’s a mama’s boy…
He said, “Family is big. Mom has to love her. I mean, love her.”
Apparently mom didn’t LOVE Eva or maybe Eva just prefers a guy who is at least is on to formula.
Sanchez’s rep told Us Magazine, “It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”
Longoria confirmed that the two were an item to Extra on Sept. 13 saying, “Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy just dating.”
Too bad, they make an attractive couple.
