FEUD ALERT: Meryl Streep vs. Julia Roberts

Rumor has it that a feud has formed on the set of August: Osage County between Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep; only Julia may not be aware since Meryl has mostly just rolled her eyes.

It’s been said before that Julia is a bit of a snatch. To be more descriptive, she’s been know to be a little controlling—doing things like counting Cameron Diaz’s lines in My Best Friend’s Wedding and trying to make adjustments if they were too funny…she is also said to have wanted “more” while filming America’s Sweethearts, like a bigger trailer and a…bigger paycheck.

This is the very essence of Julia’s latest diva demands. She allegedly felt that her dressing trailer was too far from set, which was parked just a few FEET past Meryl’s. “The crew were summoned to make her trailer exactly even with Meryl’s,” after Julia insisted.

The source for the Enquirer added, “It’s been one thing after another with Julia, but Meryl just smiles and never says a word. She’s a total pro and won’t let herself get caught up in what she’s privately called ‘childish antics.’ ”

But could things between these two women ever truly be equal? Meryl’s won three Oscars, with a whopping 17 nominations; Julia’s won once, with three nominations.

Don’t think so. Case closed.
