Octomom checks herself into rehab (AUDIO)

If anyone deserves to have a drug and alcohol problem, it’s the Octomom Nadya Suleman.. even though she put herself in this position. So is she just turning to rehab for a mini vacay or actually getting help for her problems?

Octomom checked herself into Chapman House Drug rehab over the weekend, saying that she’s getting help for her prescription drug problem. She said that she realized that she was dependent on her anti-anxiety drug, Xanex.

Her rep released a statement saying, “Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.”

But Octo’s dad and former nanny know she’s been battling another demon too. She drinks a LOT of vodka to deal with her kiddie-stress. She apparently keeps a bottle of water filled with vodka and cranberry and sips on that constantly.

Her dad left former nanny Gina B a voicemail back in August saying that Nadya was drinking and driving with the kids too much.

The voicemail said, “Gina, this is me, Ed. I’m worried about Nadya. She’s not answering the phone. And I really worry about her. Sometimes she starts drinking vodka, whatever, so maybe she should not be driving. I could pick up the kids tomorrow, I mean the big kids. I don’t know what to say. I have no idea what to say. She cannot drive the kids and drive herself and drive back here.”

Gina also said that she had to stop Octo from driving off drunk with the kids several times. Back in July, Gina had the octuplets over at a friend’s pool. Nadya showed up 3 hours late to pick them up and asked for a glass of wine as soon as she stepped in the door. They gave her some champagne because that’s all that they had, then they noticed she was waste-faced because she’d already been sipping on her special water bottle. She tried to pack all the kids in the car but Gina refused to let her leave so she passed out in the chair instead.

Gina also claims that witnessed child neglect and sexual abuse while she nannying for the children.

She gave Radar Online the voicemail and all the info but did not accept money for the story. All that she asked was for a donation to a children’s charity of her choice in return.
