Finally an intervention that worked! Michael Lohan convinced Octomom to go to rehab.

Octomom is drying up in rehab and taking a little 30-day vacay from her 14 kids, all thanks to one celebrity dad. Michael Lohan may have failed during an intervention to his daughter Lindsay but he succeeded in getting Octo to check into rehab.

Yeah, Michael’s taking the cred for all of it. He says that Octo’s manager reached out to him, voicing concerns over her Xanex addiction. Michael made arrangements at the rehab and staged an intervention.. and she agreed to go to rehab and get help.

Michael says that he’s been running a nonprofit organization in Florida for the past nine months that stage interventions for people in need of substance abuse treatment. They have performed 25 interventions so far.

No word on their success rate but as far as we know, they are 1-2. They say they’ve done 25 but Michael would have been singing his praises if they were successful. But is his new organization the reason that he reached out to Lindsay or was he just trying to shine some light on his new passion? And if that was a true intervention, wouldn’t he keep trying to get Lindsay in rehab until she surrendered?

Call me crazy but I’m skeptical of Michael Lohan’s intentions.

Enough about him. There’s one more fun Octomom fact- she thought that making that solo sex tape would bump her up to ‘Kardashian’ status and make her rich.. Maybe that’s why she started drinking and abusing pills.. to deal with the sex tape fail?

So sad. I hope others don’t have the same genius idea.
