Hope Solo involved in a domestic dispute with her fiancé the night before their wedding

***UPDATE- They did get married. The wedding must go on, right?

Hope’s teammate Jillian Loyden was at the ceremony and tweeted, “Happy to witness such an amazing celebration of real love #selflesslove #fewandfarbetween”.

Hopefully she comes to her senses in a couple of days and gets this marriage made in hell annulled.

Olympic soccer star Hope Solo was supposed to get married yesterday. She likely went through with the wedding, despite all the drama that took place the night before her wedding.

Hope had been dating former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens for the past two months. They got engaged and planned on getting married yesterday.

Well Monday night, they got involved in a dispute. Hope’s brother Marcus called the cops because of some disturbance. He had a black eye and bloody knees and Hope had a huge scrap on her elbow. She wouldn’t say how she got it.

Hope and her brother said that they were having a party that got out of hand and Marcus had to taser someone. While he was talking to the police, Hope kept telling him to shut up.

That’s when they found her fiancé Jerramy hiding in the bedroom. There were signs of struggle in the room and he had blood all over his shirt.

He admitted that he and Hope were arguing about whether they would live in Florida or Washington after they got married. The police arrested him on suspicion that he had assaulted Hope but he was released the next day due to lack of evidence. And sources are saying that they were still planning on going forward with the wedding but no word on if they did.

Jerramy does have a rap sheet though, including assault, sexual assault, DUI and extreme DUI charge where he had a BAC of 0.204, which is twice over the legal limit. And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released him back in 2010 after he was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Is it still appropriate to say ‘congrats on the wedding’ after all that?
