Britney Spears & KFed are NOT dating (thank god), but their EXES are!!

Okay, this is gonna get a little confusing—so stay with us! Shar Jackson, the baby mama and former girlfriend of Kevin Federline (the girl he dumped for Britney Spears), is dating Jason Alexander, Britney’s first husband (the one that only lasted for 55 hours after the quickie Vegas ceremony).

According to Radar Online the two have been friends for several years, but recently decided to take their relationship to the next step. But how exactly did they meet? Well, get this…“Shar and Jason were introduced several years ago at a gifting suite in Los Angeles and have been friends ever since.”

What exactly is a ‘gifting suite?’ Well, it’s a set location where a bunch of companies trying to push their brand give products to celebrities or other persons with ‘significant social status;’ in exchange, that person takes photos with the product or on a red carpet while standing in front of a press wall displaying company logos. Gifting suites are supposedly a ‘powerful marketing tool.’ Unless the biggest name you can get to sample your product is ‘Shar Jackson’ or ‘Jason Alexander’ (<- the non-Seinfeld version).

No wonder Shar and Jason found each other though—they’re obviously both looking to cash in as much as possible on their 15 seconds of fame. Maybe they thought that joining forces could raise their status in Hollywood or at least get them some cool swag-bags filled with cool stuff for Holiday re-gifting!

Actually the two possibly have a genuine connection. Jason is said to have really been there for Shar thorough some very tough times, which included “her assistant’s suicide, her best friend Yvette Wilson’s passing from cancer and her mother’s health issues.” He is also said to get along “great with her children,” plus he has also “faced a lot of the same media scrutiny that she has.”

Shar and Jason were spotted on a family date over the weekend with her two children from Kevin Federline—Kori (10) and Caleb (8)—at the Queen Mary’s Winter CHILL exhibit.

Radar’s source said, “They were cuddling and holding hands all night.”
