Halle Berry’s fiancé gets into a fist fight with her ex!

Family feuding began early on Thanksgiving at Halle Berry’s house. Typically if things are going to turn ugly, it happens after Uncle Eddie has too many spiked eggnogs. But, Halle’s ex, Gabriel Aubry and her fiancé Oliver Martinez kicked off the Holiday weekend with a bang on Thursday morning.

During a custodial hand-off with Nahla, some words were apparently exchanged and things got physical. When the fight finished both men had to be taken to the hospital and Gabriel was additionally taken off to jail—booked for misdemeanor battery.

In the struggle, Gabriel suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries as well. There are conflicting accounts as to whether Gabriel was rendered unconscious in the fight. Wow, when they fight in the movies everyone always seem just fine afterwards.

Ironically, both Olivier and Gabriel were taken to the same ER and were just down the hall from each other. Although a few people witnessed the brawl, specific details about the argument are unclear because the guys were said to be trash talking in French! Maybe Oliver was defending Halle after Gab talked $hit about her flop “Cloud Atlas?”

TMZ reported that a judge has issued an emergency protective order, which requires Gabriel to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, and Nahla, which probably won’t be a problem since he’ll need to tend to this head injury of his. On second thought, maybe he forgot what they were even fighting about? 

Halle had enough sense to immediately take Nahla inside so she didn’t see the violence… although she had to have heard it. Grow up guys, you’re in America now — don’t worry, be sue-happy!
