Jessica Simpson’s mom is hitting the hard stuff HARD

According to Star magazine, to help deal with anxiety about the end of her 34 year marriage to a gay man, Tina Simpson’s been turning to hard liquor. Yep, that’ll help! At least for a while anyway…
Her daughters aren’t taking this lightly though. From what they can tell, self-medicating with booze doesn’t seem like the best way to cope. They are urging her to seek outside help.
Tina, who is 52 years young, is said to have always been a social drinker, but now she’s crossed that imaginary line…into Gary Busey-territory. She used to drink wine, but since the super scandalous story broke about her soon-to-be ex-husband, she switched to the hard stuff—primarily like vodka and scotchy, scotch, scotch.
Star says, “Jess is just a mess over this, she feels helpless and doesn’t know what to do.”
