Ke$ha’s “Die Young” BANNED after Friday’s tragedy

Before the mass shooting on Friday, Ke$ha’s “Die Young” was the third most played song in the US—reaching 167 million listeners. By Monday, more than 19 million people shunned the song. NOW, it’s been pulled from the airwaves altogether.

If you stop by Ke$ha’s Twitter account you can read a decent-enough message about the situation:

”I’m so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected by this tragedy and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. words cannot express…”

But that’s the edited version…the PC edition…her uncensored comment included the following:

”I understand. I had my very own issue with ‘die young’ for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO.”

Yes, forced to for millions of Ke$ha $$$$$. 

Ke$ha since teamed up with One Republic to help raise money for families of Sandy Hook Elementary victims. Sounds like someone is feeling guilty… Should she? Or does the song have ZERO to do with the shooting?
